Scott Eastwood (born Scott C. Reeves; March 21, 1986)[2] is an American actor and model. He has appeared in the films Flags of Our Fathers (2006), Gran Torino (2008), Invictus (2009), The Forger (2012), Trouble with the Curve (2012), and Fury (2014). He co-starred in the 2013 horror film Texas Chainsaw with Alexandra Daddario and starred in the romantic film The Longest Ride (2015) with Britt Robertson. He has also been the model for the fragrance Cool Water by Davidoff. He is the youngest son of Academy Award-winning actor-director Clint Eastwood.

Early life

Eastwood was born in Monterey County, California[2] and raised in Hawaii.[3]

He is the son of actor-director Clint Eastwood and flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves.[4][5] He has a younger sister, Kathryn,[4] and five paternal half-siblings, including Kimber Tunis, Kyle Eastwood, Alison Eastwood, Francesca Fisher-Eastwood, and Morgan Eastwood. He graduated from high school in 2005.[6]

He attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where he graduated in 2008 with a degree in communications.[7] He currently lives in San Diego.[1]

Career

Eastwood began his career by using his mother's last name to avoid nepotism, although there is another actor named Scott Reeves. "I've auditioned for pretty much every one of my father's movies", he said in 2015, noting he was rejected for the Clint Eastwood-directed American Sniper.[8] He briefly appeared in his father's 2008 film Gran Torino, and played Joel Stransky in Invictus.

In April 2010, he played the lead role in Enter Nowhere.[9] He had a supporting role in David Ayer's 2014 film, Fury.

Eastwood played Luke Collins in the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' novel of the same name, The Longest Ride, also starring Britt Robertson and released in April 2015.[10]

Eastwood was cast alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Shailene Woodley in the upcoming biographical drama film Snowden, directed by Oliver Stone and set for release in May 2016. He has an unspecified part in the upcoming Suicide Squad, an adaptation of the DC Comics series.[8] In September 2015, he was cast as one of the leads in Overdrive, an action movie scheduled to begin shooting in Paris and Marseilles in January 2016.[11][12]

In 2015, he appeared in the music video of Taylor Swift's "Wildest Dreams". He is also set to play a role in the upcoming 2017 film Fast 8.
