Current season

The Scottish League One, known for sponsorship reasons as the Ladbrokes League One,[1] is the third tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, established in July 2013.[2] The league consists of 10 teams who play each other four times each, twice at home and twice away. The team that finishes in first place gains automatic promotion to the Scottish Championship, and the team that finishes in 10th place will be relegated to the Scottish League Two. Teams finishing second, third, fourth and the club finishing ninth in the Scottish Championship will be entered into the play-offs.
