Señora Acero (English title: Woman of Steel[2]) is an American telenovela produced by Telemundo and distributed by Telemundo Television Studios and Argos Comunicación, starring Blanca Soto as the "Señora Acero".

On January 13, 2015, it was confirmed that the series would have a second season; the production for the second season began in May 2015.[3]

Background

The telenovela might have starred Sandra Echeverría,[4] but, Blanca Soto was selected for the role of protagonist. The title of the telenovela was first "Mujer de Acero", then later was changed to "Señora Acero".[5][6]

Blanca Soto departed from the series after season two and Carolina Miranda would replace Soto as the main protagonist in season three.[7]
