Shita Coat Bihar, Nawabganj

Shita Coat Bihar is a Buddhist temple situated at Nawabganj Upazilla of Dinajpur district in Bangladesh.[1] It is imagined that it was built in 7th or 8th century with 41 rooms where the main temple was in the South. It is said that this was used by sita of Ramayan of Hindu puran . There is big pond in the east side of t.his temple which is known as shaldighi. It is situated at the west side of nawabgonj. There is a big Palm tree in the middle of the temple.
