Shchuchinsk (Russian: Щучинск) is a city in northern-central Kazakhstan, located 75 kilometres south-east of Kokshetau. It is the seat of Burabay District (form. Shchuchinsk District) in Akmola Region. Population: 44,106 (2009 Census results);[1]45,254 (1999 Census results).[1]
