The Siberut macaque (Macaca siberu) is a vulnerable species of macaque, which is endemic to Siberut Island in Indonesia.[1] It was formerly considered conspecific with M. pagensis (which is overall paler), but this arrangement is polyphyletic.[3] Both were formerly considered subspecies of M. nemestrina.[1]
