Sing is an upcoming American computer-animated musical comedy film directed and written by Garth Jennings, and produced by Illumination Entertainment.[2] The film stars the voices of Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Tori Kelly, John C. Reilly, Taron Egerton, and Scarlett Johansson. Universal Pictures has scheduled it for release on December 21, 2016.

Plot

To save his theater from closing down, Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey) holds a singing contest to raise money for it and the entire town auditions for a part in the show.

Cast

Other confirmed cast members whose roles have not yet been confirmed are Nick Kroll,[5] Nick Offerman,[5] Leslie Jones,[5] Jennifer Saunders,[5][6] Peter Serafinowicz[5] Jay Pharoah,[5] and Beck Bennett.[5]

Release

Universal Studios scheduled the film to be released on December 21, 2016.[7] It will release internationally in early 2017.
