Starmalls is a subsidiary of Vista Land & Lifescapes engaged in the operation of shopping malls and office buildings in the Philippines. It is one of the major shopping mall retailers in the Philippines joining SM Supermalls, Robinsons Malls, Ayala Malls and Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.

History

Starmalls was originally incorporated as Polar Mines and Development Corporation in October 16, 1969 which engaged in the mineral exploration industry. Polar Mines changed its name to Polar Property Holdings Corp., a move approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in September 2004, and shifted its industry into investment, real estate and leasing business. Polar Property changed its name to Starmalls with the name change being approved by the SEC in June 22, 2012.[1]

It is the first of its kind in the Philippines where a full line home center, shopping, dining and enjoyment options-Starmall reinvents itself as a game-changer for the retail industry, elevating itself as a superior leisure destination.
