Stephen Kramer Glickman (born March 17, 1979)[1] is a Canadian actor, fashion designer, music producer, chef, stand-up comedian, and bounty hunter. He is best known as Gustavo Rocque on the Nickelodeon television series Big Time Rush (2009–2013).
Early life
Glickman was born in Ontario, Canada[2] and is Jewish.[3]
Career
Stephen Kramer Glickman starred as a record producer named "Gustavo Rocque" on the Nickelodeon television series, Big Time Rush. In 2007, he was cast as Shrek in Shrek the Musical, and played the part in the original Broadway workshops and readings, before Brian d'Arcy James was cast in 2008.
He also hosted the popular YouTube show Equals Three for one day while Ray William Johnson was out recording his album as the persona YourFavoriteMartian also found on YouTube. He has also voiced Billy Bob in an animated web series named "Trailer Trash" produced by Stupid Factory Studios and Titmouse and distributed by Mondo Media and Lionsgate, which is currently available on YouTube and Hulu.
Personal life
After wrapping Big Time Rush, Glickman started training with celebrity fitness expert Eric the Trainer, and started working with the food program Sunfare. Within seven months he lost 288 pounds and went from a 56-inch waist to a 42 waist and from a 5XL shirt to a 2XL shirt. He continues to work out daily at Powerhouse Gym in Burbank, California.[citation needed]
