Shahzada Sulaiman Shikoh (15 March 1635 – May 1662[1]) also known as Sulaiman Shukoh, was the eldest son of Mughal prince Dara Shikoh. He was excuted at Gwaliour fort by Aurangzeb orders

He was born sultanpur to prince Dara and Nadira Begum and first grandson of shah Jahan and close to her cousin zeb un nisa (who loved him but Aurangzeb hated him) He had siblings was 1 brother and 2 sisters sulaiman was served subehdar of mughal subah by his grandfather emperor Shah Jahan He was paternal uncles shah shuja and murad baksh his cousins included sulatn bang,gulrukh begum,Md yar and hamidullal khan and others sulaiman led his father army during shah jahan ill

Personal life

14 April 1654, He married Anup Kanwar, daughter of Amar Singh of Nagaur, son of Raja Gaj Singh. In 1659 he married to Indra Kanwar who gave birth Fatima Begum He had a concubine named Munawar begum a girl of dara shikoh harem He had first son Qasim born 1654 who died 6 months, second son Junaid Shikoh 1655 at Agra fort he was killed during deccan fighting Third son kojad was born a concubine who killed 1675, his daughter Salima married to md akbar son of aurangzeb and Fatima marry to muhi sunnat son of md kam baksh the son of Aurangzeb

Death

On 1659,his father killed by aurangzeb four henchmens who buried humayun tomb,sulaiman shikoh was sent to gwalior fort her grand father was imprisoned at agra fort for 8 years, May 1662 he was excuted by red poising and he died his body were buried gwaliour his centophy along with her uncle murad baksh Zeb-un-nisa married to her father Aurangzeb and became malikaye of Hindustan
