Swiftwater, Pennsylvania

Swiftwater is an unincorporated community in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, United States.[1] In 1897 Richard Slee created the Pocono Biological Laboratories in Swiftwater.[2] Swiftwater is home to the biggest flu vaccine plant in the United States.[3] Swiftwater is the location of one of the many barracks locations of the Pennsylvania State Police. The barracks is on a hill on State Route 611. Swiftwater is also the home of the Pocono Cheesecake Factory, located on SR 611.
