It seems to me that the title of this article ought to be changed from "Nazism" to "National Socialism." My reasons for thinking this are as follows. First, the word at the root of "Nazism" ("Nazi") is both highly informal and abusive. Thus, to speak of National Socialists as "Nazis" is equivalent to referring to Communists as "Commies" or Social Democrats as "Pinkos." (By extension, the designations of Communism and Social Democracy that correspond to "Nazism" would be "Commie-ism" and "Pinko-ism.") Second, the terms "Nazi" and "Nazism" place undo emphasis on one of the two salient features of the National Socialist program, that of nationalism, thereby obscuring the second salient feature, that of socialism. (This act of obscuration, in turn, makes it harder for readers to place the phenomenon of National Socialism in its historical context.)

Changed from Nazism to National Socialism a while back for this very reason.

Usage of term "Nazism", as you say, promotes an explicitly "anti-Nazi" point of view just like what you see on, say, Wikipedia or in other heavily biased leftist and/or pro-Communist sources. I'm not a Nazi by any means, and I'm certainly not a "Holocaust denier" or an anti-Semite either who's trying to turn Infogalactic into a clone of Metapedia (though I have imported several articles from that Wiki, as well as Conservapedia, with some editing to distinguish from those sites, primarily because the Wikipedia equivalents are now more or less the same as what you'd see on, say, RationalWiki). But, as stated above, the term "Nazi Germany" in itself shares many similarities with "Commie Russia" to describe the Soviet Union, the latter of which was a far more oppressive state in its own right even if you believe the official or revisionist views on the Third Reich, and was also virulently anti-Semitic in its own right under Stalin.
