In Dutch and Belgian cuisine, rijstevlaai (Dutch) or tarte au riz (French) (German: Reisfladen, all translate to rice pie) is a pie with a filling based on rice pudding. Typically they are made 'single-crust' - with no layer of pastry covering the top.
