M. Teresa Ruiz (born June 28, 1974) is an American Democratic Party politician, who has been serving in the New Jersey State Senate since January 8, 2008, where she represents the 29th Legislative District.

In the Senate, Ruiz serves on the Education Committee (as Chair), on the Budget Committee and Appropriations Committee and the Economic Growth Committee.[1]

Education

In 1998, Ruiz received a B.A. from Drew University in English.[1]
