The Clouds were a Glasgow-based indie pop band from the 1980s, fronted by brothers John and Bill Charnley.[1]

The Clouds had a hit on the UK Indie Chart in 1988 with "Tranquil," (on the Subway Organisation label), reaching number 13.[1] Other songs the band released were "Jenny Nowhere" in 1986 and "Get Out of my Dream" in 1987.
