The Degrees of Knowledge (French: Distinguer pour unir, ou Les Degrés du Savoir) is a 1932 book by Jacques Maritain, his major contribution to epistemology.[1] It was first published in English translation in 1959.[2]
Scholarly reception
Philosopher Adolf Grünbaum argues in Philosophical Problems of Space and Time (1963) that Maritain presents an unsound and incorrect interpretation of the nature of geometry.[3]
