The Intern Group is a provider of international internship programs in London, Hong Kong, Australia, Colombia, Madrid, and New York.[1]

History

The company was founded and keeps its head office in London.[2] It has offices in New York, Melbourne, Madrid, Hong Kong, Colombia and also Santiago, Chile.[3] In 2011, the company won a place on the Start-Up Chile entrepreneurship program.[4][5]

In 2012, The Intern Group won the entrepreneurship competition at the 6th Summit of the Americas.[6]

In 2013, The Intern Group had nearly 1000 participants in its program.[7]

In 2014, the company qualified as a semi-finalist in the StartmeupHK Venture Programme sponsored by the InvestHK agency of the Government of Hong Kong.[8]

Partnerships

The Intern Group has a partnership with National University of Singapore (NUS), which awards its students academic credit and financial aid for programs with The Intern Group.[9] Other partnerships include the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology,[10] University of Newcastle,[11] the University of New South Wales[12] and La Trobe University[13] in Australia. London School of Economics (LSE), [14] Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC), [15] The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS),[16] Universidad de Mendoza[17] are also partnerships of The Intern Group.
