The Kim Komando Show is a commercial talk radio program focusing on personal computers, the use of the Internet, and the complexities of consumer electronics.
The host of the program, Kim Komando, who refers to herself on the show as "America's Digital Goddess," is also a co-founder of the WestStar TalkRadio Network, which syndicates The Kim Komando Show and other programs.
The radio studios and the distribution company have been based in Phoenix, Arizona since 1994. According to a TALKERS Magazine report for the fall of 2007, Komando's weekend program has reached a weekly cumulative audience (cume) of 2.25 million people.[1]
The show airs live from Phoenix on Saturdays 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. PT, adjusted seasonally for Daylight Saving Time, during which calls from listeners are accepted. Weekday syndicated broadcasts are made, rebroadcast at various hours by affiliate radio stations. The show can also be heard over the Internet by paid subscription.
Program description
During the commercially-supported three-hour program, Komando responds to screened calls from individuals seeking advice on buying and using computers, gadgets, and other devices.
