1972

1974

  • 10 April—George Saunderson (58), an ex-member of the Ulster Defence Regiment, was shot at his workplace.[3]
  • 21 April—James Murphy (40), a civil rights activist was found shot at his garage in Corraveigh, near Derrylin.[4]
  • 2 December—John Maddocks (32), a member of the British Army, was killed by a booby trap bomb, hidden in a milk churn left in a field, while on foot patrol near Derrylin.[1]

1985

  • 1 February—James Graham (39), an off duty member of the Ulster Defence Regiment, was shot while driving a school bus.[1]

1988

  • 6 April 1988—William Burleigh (51), an off duty member of the Ulster Defence Regiment, was killed by a booby trap bomb attached to his car at Tirraroe, near Derrylin.[1]
