Theodore Lenzen

Theodore Lenzen was San Jose's first architect. Born in Prussia in 1833,[1] he moved to San Jose, California in 1863. He is responsible for designing over 500 buildings including San Jose's city hall, University of the Pacific, Santa Clara College and the Fredericksburg brewery.

The Lenzen street name and Theodore Lenzen Park were named after him.
