Thiruvambadi Sri Krishna Temple(തിരുവമ്പാടി ക്ഷേത്രം) is a Hindu temple located in City of Thrissur in Kerala, India. The temple is one of the two rival groups participating in Thrissur Pooram, which is the biggest local festival in Kerala. Bhagavad Gita chanting makes the temple always alive.Every day the Devaswom is giving free lunch(പ്രസാദം) to people(ഭക്തര്‍). The straight road opposite to the temple leads to Poonkunnam Railway station and further up to Poonkunnam junction. From there people can catch train or bus to Guruvayoor temple.Behind the temple there is a temple for Ganesh(ഗണപതി അമ്പലം) . The dress code is a must inside the temple No pants or modern dresses allowed.The name of the parallel road in front of the temple is Shornur road,leading to Vadakunnatan temple on one side and Paturaikkal and then to Shornur on the other.
