Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 is a golfing simulation video game in the PGA Tour series published by Electronic Arts.[1] It was released in North America on March 27, 2012, in Australia on March 29, 2012 and in Europe on March 30, 2012[2] for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This is the first version of the game since 2006 not to be released on the Wii.[3] EA has sunsetted the servers which means the courses are no longer available for download.

Game Modes

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 features a game mode called "Legacy Challenge," where players control Tiger Woods through various points of his life, including:

  • Toddler Years (ages 2–5)
  • Early Years (ages 7–11)
  • Junior Years (ages 12–15)
  • Amateur Years (ages 18–20)
  • Rookie Years (ages 21 and 22)
  • Tiger Slam (ages 24 and 25; 2000 and 2001)
  • Pro Years (2002–2009)
  • Present Day (2010–2013)
  • Future (2014–2017)
  • Record Books (Winning 19th major to break Jack Nicklaus' record)

Features

Online Country Clubs

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 will allow players to team up with friends in an Online Country Club or to create their own. The Country Club will allow members to earn Status Points and Coins that can be used to play rounds on a downloadable course or to unlock Boost Pin packs for their golfer.

The Online Country Club will feature stat breakdowns to allow members to compare themselves to other members. The Country Club also offers a tournament creation feature for members to compete for the title of Club Champion. [5]

The game was met with slightly positive reception upon release. GameRankings and Metacritic gave it a score of 78.95% and 77 out of 100 for the Xbox 360 version,[21][23] and 75.60% and 75 out of 100 for the PlayStation 3 version.[20][22]
