Tony O’Dell (born January 30, 1960) is an American actor, perhaps best known for his role as preppy Alan Pinkard on the ABC sitcom Head of the Class (1986–91), and as "Ferdy" in Chopping Mall.

Early life and career

O'Dell was born Anthony Dell'Aquila in Pasadena, California. His first television appearance was a 1978 episode of the NBC television series CHiPs, titled "Trick or Treat." His first co-starring role was in 1985 on the short lived CBS science fiction series Otherworld, as Trace Sterling. He also played the role of the Cobra Kai member Jimmy, in the film The Karate Kid.

Head of the Class

O'Dell's next role was of high school student Alan Pinkard on the ABC sitcom Head of the Class (1986-91).

Later years/present

Now an acting and dialog coach, O'Dell has appeared on such television programs as Suddenly Susan, The George Lopez Show, and K.C. Undercover.
