It contains extensive case studies of historic writers, artists, and composers assessed as probably having suffered with Cyclothymia, Major Depressive Disorder, or Manic-Depressive/Bipolar Disorder.[1]

Prize

The book received the Lewis Thomas Prize June 5, 2013.[2]
