Awards

UltraVision CLPL has received The Queen's Award for Enterprise: Innovation twice. First in 2006 for its Spherical Aberration Management (SAM) and Wavefront technology.[2] And again in April 2010[3] specifically for KeraSoft, UltraVision’s patented soft and silicone hydrogel contact lenses for irregular corneas, including keratoconus.[4]

The company is the only UK contact lens manufacturer to receive the Queen's Award for Enterprise twice, specifically for its patented technology.

SAM Technology has also won an award from the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers who gave it their Award for Innovation in British Optics 2001.[5] In the same year, EFCLIN (European Federation of Contact Lens Industry) awarded it with the Technology Award 2001.[6]
