The 2016 United States House of Representatives elections in Wisconsin will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 to elect the 27 U.S. Representatives from the state of Wisconsin, one from each of the state's eight congressional districts. The elections will coincide with the elections of other federal and state offices, including President of the United States and U.S. Senator from Wisconsin.

The primaries will be held on August 9.

District 1

Republican Paul Ryan has represented the district since being elected in 1998, and since October 29, 2015, he also sits as the current Speaker of the House.

Jason Lebeck is running as a Libertarian.[5]

District 2

Democrat Mark Pocan has represented the district since being elected in 2012.

Peter Theron, who was the Republican nominee in 2008 and 2014, has announced that he will run as a Republican in 2016.[3]

District 3

Democrat Ron Kind has represented the district since 1996.

Democrat Gwen Moore has represented the district since being elected in 2004.

Dan Sebring who has been the GOP nominee every cycle since 2008, has announced that he will not run in 2016.

Andy Craig, political activist and 2014 candidate for Secretary of State, is running on the Libertarian ticket.[7]

District 5

Republican James Sensenbrenner has represented the district since being elected in 1978.

Khary Penebaker is running as a Democrat.[8]

John Arndt is running as a Libertarian.[9]

District 6

Republican Glenn Grothman has represented the district since being elected in 2014.

Sarah Lloyd is running as a Democrat.[10]

Jeff Dahlke is running as an independent.[3]

District 7

Republican Sean Duffy has represented the district since being elected in 2010.

Democrat Kirk Bangstad, a political consultant, had announced that he would challenge Duffy in 2016, but in October 2015 he dropped out.[11] 2014 nominee Kelly Westlund announced that she will not run again in 2016.[12]

Ethel Quisler has announced that she will run as a Democrat.[13]

District 8

Republican Reid Ribble has represented the district since being elected in 2010. On January 30, 2016, Ribble announced he would retire at the end of his third term, opening the seat for the 2016 election.[14]
