The Vale of Clwyd (Welsh: Dyffryn Clwyd) is a constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

The Vale of Clwyd Welsh Assembly constituency was created with the same boundaries in 1999.

Boundaries

The constituency was created in 1997 from the seats of Clwyd North West, Clwyd South West and Delyn. It is located in north Wales, and includes the towns of Rhyl, Prestatyn, Denbigh and St. Asaph.

In the Fifth Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies which reported in time for the 2010 general election, the Boundary Commission for Wales formed Vale of Clwyd from the following electoral wards:[2]
