Valerie Wise (born circa 1955) is a British political activist. Her mother was Audrey Wise MP.

She was a significant figure in Ken Livingstone's administration at the Greater London Council. She was chair of the GLC's women's committee, and as such was seen as responsible for some of the GLC's so-called "loony left" policies. She was in the running for the Labour nomination in Coventry North East in the run-up to the 1987 general election.

She spent time as a councillor in Preston and served as Labour leader of Preston City Council in 1995, but left Labour over the Iraq War. She now leads the Preston Domestic Violence Service.
