The station is owned by Metro Media Broadcasting, A Subsidiary of Marcom Group, which its CEO is Héctor Marcano Martinez, a well-known TV personality, producer and program host. the stations Brands itself as Destino TV. WWXY-LD's studios are located at Marcom Tower in Santurce and its transmitter at Cerro la Marquesa in Aguas Buenas. WWXY-LD is an independent Spanish-language station, showing lifestyle and health programs. On Channel 38.2, the station is branded as Accion TV. Accion TV broadcasts 24-hour news coverage on events happening in Puerto Rico. Accion TV also broadcasts local programming produced by Marcom Group.

Destino TV will initially cover the airwaves of the San Juan Metro area, with eventual expansion to cable and satellite services.
