Wolf Pen is an unincorporated community in Wyoming County, West Virginia, United States, along Indian Creek.[2] Legend has it that Wolf Pen's name comes from an incident when a man built a pen to capture the wolves which had been taking his sheep. The pen was of log construction similar to the type used for catching bears.
