TVMÁS HD is the state-owned public broadcaster serving the Mexican state of Veracruz.

TVMÁS was established in January 1980 by the Secretaría de Educación y Cultura of Veracruz, after receiving its permit on October 23, 1978. XHGV, a landmark venture into television by state government, was conceived as a center for audiovisual production and educational/cultural broadcasting. Its mandate includes coverage of subjects such as security and civil defense, health and justice, food, economic development, protection of nature and the environment as well as the promotion of civic values within Veracruzan society.

It is the sister to the Radiomás state radio network.

Coverage

TVMÁS (XHGV-TDT) is distributed statewide by multiple repeater stations located throughout Veracruz. Two digital stations signed on in 2014:

An additional XHGV transmitter is located at Misantla. XHGVC has a shadow in Las Choapas, while XHGVS also has a transmitter at Santiago Tuxtla.

XHGV, XHVCA, XHGVC (analog 21) and XHZOT became digital-only in December 2015. The other stations were granted a one-year extension to remain in analog until 2016.

TVMÁS is also available continent-wide on SATMEX 6 C-band satellite (4068.5 MHz, V, 9.5 Mbit/s, DVB-S).
