The Zengwun River (Chinese: 曾文溪; pinyin: Zéngwén Xī; Wade–Giles: Tseng2-wen2 Hsi1; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Chan-bûn-khoe)[1] is a river in Taiwan. It flows through Tainan and Chiayi County for 138 km.[2]

The largest reservoir in Taiwan, Zengwun Reservoir, formed by Zengwun Dam, is located Located upstream of Zengwun River.[3]

Taijiang National Park encompasses parts of the Zengwun estuary as well as nearby coastal areas.[4] The endangered black-faced spoonbills come every winter as migrants and inhabit downstream near the estuary, where many other waterfowls are also found. A conservation area has been set up to protect the spoonbills.[5][6]
