Nya (, Sanskrit and Hindi: ञकार ñakāra) is the tenth consonant of the Devanagari abugida. It is pronounced [ɲə], similar to the phoneme in English canyon, /ˈkænjən/. It is very rare in Hindi, but common in Sanskrit.l
