1976 Burundian coup d'état

Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. On 1 November 1976 an army faction led by Deputy Chief of Staff Jean-Baptiste Bagaza led a bloodless coup that ousted Michel Micombero. Micombero was initially arrested but later allowed to leave the country and went into exile in Somalia where he died in 1983.[1]
