The 2021 New York Yankees season is the 119th season in New York City for the Yankees, and the 121st season overall for the franchise. The Yankees play in Yankee Stadium in the city's northern borough of The Bronx, and are led by Aaron Boone on his fourth season as team manager.

  • December 2 – Luis Cessa re-signs with the Yankees for a 1-year, $1 million contract.[2]

2021

  • January 27 – DJ LeMahieu re-signs with the Yankees to a six year, $90 million contract in free agency.[6]
  • February 10 – Signed sidearm right-handed pitcher Darren O'Day (coming off a season with the Atlanta Braves) to a one-year, $1.75 million contract while in free agency.[7]
  • February 22 – Brett Gardner re-signs with the Yankees to a one-year, $4 million contract while in free agency.[8]
