Combat in Southwest and Western Pacific, June 2, 1942 – August 14, 1945. Served in the occupation force in Japan, 1945–1950. Combat in Korea, July 8, 1950 – May 25, 1951. Air defense in Japan and Korea, June 1951 – June 1965. Trained cadres for transfer to Southeast Asia, 1966–1969. Not manned, May 10, 1969 – October 15, 1970 and June 1, 1972 – April 30, 1982.
