Achill was a station which served Achill in County Mayo, Ireland. It was the terminus of an extension line from Westport via Newport & Mallaranny (Mulranny).
History
Opened by the Midland Great Western Railway in 1894/5. In 1925 a merger led to management by the Great Southern Railways. They closed it in 1937. A comprehensive history and description of the line ("Rails to Achill") by historical author Jonathan Beaumont was published in 2002 by Oakwood Press.
