Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. The America First Political Action Conference (AFPAC) is an annual right-wing political conference. AFPAC was founded in 2020 by Nick Fuentes, an American nationalist political commentator. Many attendees are members of the America First movement and are supporters of Fuentes, also known as Groypers. As of 2022, the conference has featured two current United States House Republicans as speakers.

History

AFPAC was founded by Nick Fuentes in response to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), which, since the late 2010s, has increasingly been rejected by those further to the political right as a so-called "cuckservative" or SJW converged organization. This began after CPAC leaders condemned the newly-emerging alt-right movement as "fascists" for questioning international free trade, opposing cultural and social diversity, opposing immigration, and proposing that human racial groups have innate differences instead of being theoretically interchangeable.[1] Since then, CPAC conference organizers have allegedly been enforcing politically correct positions that were not traditionally part of American conservative doctrine, such as acceptance of atheism and transgender identity, and have rejected or expelled[2] right-wing figures who question these new positions.[3] CPAC's continuing relevance was questioned as conference organizers increasingly rejected right-wing politics' more confrontational and sometimes radical activist methods.[4]

2020

The inaugural AFPAC was held on February 28, 2020, in Washington, D.C. Speakers included the paleoconservative political commentator Michelle Malkin; former leader of the Identitarian group Identity Evropa, Patrick Casey; former Daily Caller editor Scott Greer; and Nick Fuentes.

2021

The second AFPAC was held on February 25, 2021, in Orlando, Florida. Speakers included Malkin, Vincent James of The Red Elephants, former BlazeTV host Jon Miller, former Representative Steve King and Fuentes.

Arizona Representative Paul Gosar appeared as a surprise keynote speaker at the conference. In his speech, he discussed mass immigration and censorship by social media platforms.

2022

The third AFPAC was held on February 25, 2022, in Orlando, Florida. It was sponsored by the alt-tech social media platform Gab. It was later announced that Gab CEO Andrew Torba would be a guest speaker at the AFPAC.

Speakers included Former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, radio host Jesse Lee Peterson, Vincent James, Stew Peters, Andrew Torba and Fuentes.

The conference hosted a variety of media personalities, including Gavin McInnes and Milo Yiannopoulos, as well as publishers of pro-white "race realist" literature Jared Taylor and Peter Brimelow.
