Princess Anastasia[1][2] (German: Anastasia-Luise Alexandra Elisabeth Jutta Sibylle Marie-Auguste Henriette Prinzessin von Anhalt[2]) (Anastasia-Luise Alexandra Elisabeth Jutta Sibylle Marie-Auguste Henriette; born 22 December 1940) is a member of the House of Ascania.

Birth

Anastasia was born on 22 December 1940 in Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany,[1][2] the only child[1][2] of Prince Eugen of Anhalt and his wife Anastasia Jungmeier[1][2] and a granddaughter[1][2] of Eduard, Duke of Anhalt, the penultimate ruler of the Duchy of Anhalt.

Marriage

Anastasia married Prince Maria Emanuel of Saxony, eldest child[1][2] of Friedrich Christian, Margrave of Meissen and his wife, Princess Elisabeth Helene of Thurn and Taxis,[1][2] on 23 June 1962 in Vevey, Vaud, Switzerland.[1][2] Anastasia and Maria Emanuel do not have children.[1][2]
