Angry White Dude was an Internet blog that described itself as being dedicated to the "defense of the most ridiculed and unappreciated being on the planet… THE WHITE MALE."
However, left-wing critics like RationalWiki denounce it as a "by-the-numbers, foaming-at-the-mouth right-wing blog dedicated to bellyaching about the perceived war against the groups and classes who rule the world (i.e… men, whites, heterosexuals, Christians, the rich, the military, etc.) by Barack Obama, and to stroking off its author's ego."
The blog's author in turn accuses these critics of being cultural Marxists, and even of supporting white genocide.
About
Blog entries somewhat resembled Encyclopedia Dramatica articles. Critics claimed it could sometimes be hard to discern the author’s hypothesis "amidst all the swearing and bitching". In some cases they pretend to misunderstand or oversimplify his theses, [1] asking whether he really believes that "That cats are gay".
Common themes include:
- Men's rights movement analysis of perceived anti-male rhetoric in commercials.
- Birther accusations of Obama being born in Kenya,[2] which led to critics accusing the author of paranoia, and claiming that the author believes Obama is constantly monitoring his website. The site analyzes various sometimes conflicting claims that Obama is an atheist, Muslim, communist and/or homosexual.
- The author has been accused of Homophobia for referring to men he disagrees with as "poofter".[3]
The author is accused of vanity for referring to himself as "Big Sexy".
Science posts
Angry White Dude is not a white supremacist website and does not allow the denigration of black people, but it does contain substantial analysis of alleged racial differences, including welfare rates, which has led to occasional comments such as:

The blog author claims to have a scientific attitude to these matters and acknowledges the explanatory power of evolution, which has caused some grudging respect among left-wing critics,[5] but these same critics say he then goes too far by stating that evolution also acts upon human cognitive traits within different populations, a view they say endorses racialism which they consider unacceptable.
Global warming denial claims are also discussed on the blog,[6] complete with seasonal analysis of arctic ice levels.
Background
The Angry White Dude resides in Texas.[7] The site has been severely criticized by RationalWiki, which lists it under its categories: Batshit crazy, Bullshit, Conservative wingnuttery, Internet hate sites, Internet kooks, Machismo.[8]
After the 2017 Unite the Right rally, a large number of right-wing sites were removed from the Internet by their hosting providers. Angry White Dude, which had been hosted by Cloudflare, became inaccessible in August 2017.[9]
