Anne C. Campbell is a British academic and author who specializes in evolutionary psychology. She is Professor of Psychology at Durham University.

Campbell’s research is primarily concerned with differences in forms of aggression displayed by men and women. In particular she studies forms of female violence, and has conducted ethnographic work with female gang members in New York. She is also known for her research into the different ways that men and women perceive one-night stands, which she published in the journal Human Nature.[1]

In 2010 Campbell made a memorable appearance in the Norwegian documentary series Hjernevask ('Brainwash'), in which she argued forcefully against the gender theories of Norwegian social scientists.
