The Athenaeum Club is a private Gentlemen's club situated in Melbourne, Australia.
The club has been in operation since 1868.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
The club is not related to the nearby Melbourne Athenaeum.

G. Knight, but came to grief three years later. Knight attempted to launch a City Club in 1872, but this does not seem to have survived its infancy.
