Baltazar Enrique Porras Cardozo (born October 10, 1944) is the current archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mérida.
Biography
He was ordained priest on July 30, 1967.
He was appointed auxiliary bishop of Mérida on July 23, 1983. Receiving his episcopal consecration on September 17, 1983 from cardinal José Lebrún Moratinos.
He was appointed archbishop of Mérida on October 31, 1991.
He replaces the previous bishop of Mérida Miguel Antonio Salas.
