Bhaurao Krishnaji Gaikwad(October 15, 1902 - December 29, 1971) known as Dadasaheb Gaikwad was a politician and social worker from Maharashtra, India.[1] He had also been member of parliament representing the both houses Lok sabha and Rajya sabha.[2] He was honoured by Padma Shri in 1968 for his dedicated service to society. He was a close colleague and follower of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar.

The Government of India issued a commemorative stamp in his honour in 2002.[3]

Life

Dadasaheb was born on October 15, 1902 at village Ambe in Dindori tahasil of Nashik district in a peasant Mahar family.
