Bishop of Grimsby
The Bishop of Grimsby is an episcopal title used by a suffragan bishop of the Church of England Diocese of Lincoln, in the Province of Canterbury, England.[1] The title takes its name after the town of Grimsby in Lincolnshire. The suffragan bishop's official residence is Bishop's House, Church Lane, Irby-on-Humber, Lincolnshire. From 2010[2]until 31 January 2013,[3] the bishop had episcopal oversight as the area bishop for the northern part of the diocese, i.e. the same area as the Archdeacon of Stow and Lindsey – the archdeaconries of Stow and of Lindsey.[4]
David Court was consecrated bishop on 25 July 2014 at St Paul's Cathedral.[5]
