Boomerang was a Spanish television channel of old and new cartoons. In their programming were preferredly drawings of Hanna-Barbera, among others. It was Cartoon Network's sister station, a former division of Time Warner.

Since 2004, Boomerang had a Spanish version. It's been available on the Digital+ digital platform, on the Auna cable platform and on Movistar Movistar TV ADSL platform. It was introduced as a part of Cartoon Network's schedule on weekend afternoons. The station's programming resembled strongly the UK version. It relied heavily in older Warner Brothers, MGM, and Hanna-Barbera cartoons, but it also included fairly recent programmes featuring older characters, like Baby Looney Tunes and Duck Dodgers. It also featured other classic cartoons, like the Japanese Heidi and the Spanish La vuelta al mundo de Willy Fog (Around the World with Willy Fog).

On 1 September 2011, Boomerang Spain disappeared and Cartoonito was launched in its place. Subsequently, Cartoonito Spain closed down completely on 1 July 2013, along with Cartoon Network Spain for its programs to be moved to Boing Spain.
