Carmen Sandiego: Out of This World is a soundtrack album to the children's television gameshow Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?. It was by Zoom Express and Flight Records.[1] It mostly consists of songs by host Greg Lee, and also features songs by Rockapella, XTC, and They Might Be Giants. Lee was featured on 5 of the tracks, including a reworking of the gameshow's theme song.[1] It is mostly a pop-rock album, and was released by the label Zoom Express in the United States on March 29, 1994. The CD version has a total running time of 32:34, and the cassette version has a total running time of 33:03 [2] .[3]

Critical reception

Allmusic gave the album an editor rating of 3 stars out of 5.[4]

Toledo Blade said artists like XTC and They Might Be Giants were used to appeal to a younger demographic. It added that some of the songs have "fun lyrics and make even older listeners smile".[5]
