Sleep is always a necessity. Maintaining the best sleep schedule should include a comforting place and a minimum of 7.5 hours of undisturbed sleep. Making the sleep space a comfortable and inviting space is important to feel quickly relaxed and sleepy. A minimum of 7.5 hours is required due to the time needed to enter each sleep REM cycle. When the cycles are disrupted or incomplete the body becomes fatigued and not able to function properly. Awareness and alertness becomes slower and can effect work abilities and everyday functions. Sleep is something that should be taken seriously and planned out strategically for what works best for each individual.
