Christian Alberto Cueva Bravo (born 23 November 1991) is a Peruvian international footballer who plays professionally for Mexican club Toluca, as a winger. He was a member of the Peru national football team that finished in third place at the 2015 Copa América.

Career

Club

Cueva spent his early career in his native Peru with Universidad San Martín and Universidad César Vallejo.[1][2] In January 2013 he was close to signing for Brazilian club Ponte Preta,[3] but later that month he moved to Chilean club Union Española.[4]

He signed on loan for Spanish club Rayo Vallecano in August 2013.[5]

He returned to Peru with Alianza Lima in 2014.[2]

He signed for Mexican club Toluca in July 2015.[6]

International

He made his international debut for Peru in 2011.[1] He was included in Peru's squad for the 2015 Copa América, scoring the team's opening goal of the tournament in a 2–1 loss to Brazil.[7]
