Chryssa Kouveliotou

Chryssa Kouveliotou is an astrophysicist from Greece who studied in the United Kingdom and Germany. She then taught at the University of Athens before pursuing research work in the United States.[1] She has received the Dannie Heineman Prize for Astrophysics[2] and shared the Bruno Rossi Prize for her work on magnetars.[3] She is a professor at George Washington University who had worked in high-energy astrophysics at Marshall Space Flight Center.[4]
